Our instalment payment plan allows you to spread the cost of your package over a set period of time, providing you with additional flexibility.
Why is an instalment plan more expensive than paying outright?
Our payments processor charges us for each payment made by credit or debit card, which includes a number of specific charges relating to the processing of the payment, anti-fraud checks and ensuring the payment complies with the latest Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) to ensure your transaction is safe.
These charges apply to each payment. When you pay for your package in full, this charge is applied once. When you pay by instalment, it’s charged each time. As such, these costs add up, and therefore mean that instalment payments are slightly higher than paying in full.
Example: MalgraBooks Advanced (25/26)
Pay in full: £225
Pay across 6 months: £38.99 per month = £233.94
Difference paying in full: Save £8.94.
In addition, on occasion a payment may fail and our team have to rearrange a subsequent payment to be made, and have additional administrative activities which we have to carry out. These additional tasks obviously incur costs.
Therefore, our package prices are slightly higher for paying by instalment payment plan than by paying in full.
We accept both Credit and Debit card payments, with a range of card options available (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) along with PayPal.
If you have PayPal Credit, you may have offers available for lower interest or to pay in different instalments.
Manage an existing Payment Plan
You can view your subscription within our billing portal.
- Login to your Account Dashboard
- Choose ‘Your Packages’
- Select from the ‘Plans’ section the relevant payment plan / subscription
Depending on your package, you may be able to make changes live on the system. However in some cases, this may not be possible if you’re on a legacy subscription.
If the option to manage or change a current payment plan isn’t showing, please contact our team and we’ll be pleased to assist.
Change Payment Card
You can update the payment card used for your subscription within your account. Simply choose the relevant subscription and follow the prompts to change your payment card.
Cancel
This will cancel the subscription. If this is chosen, you’ll be sent an invoice to cover any remaining payments which are due for your account.
If our system does not allow you to cancel online, please contact our team for assistance.
Unsuccessful payments
Where any payment is unsuccessful, our system will inform you by email and advise on the next steps to arrange alternative payment using our online system.
Our automated systems will attempt to retry any failed payment – this is designed to keep your account up to date, and require minimum input from you whilst the system tries to complete payment of your instalment amount.
Cancelled Payment Plans due to non-payment
When an instalment payment plan is cancelled due to non-payment of a scheduled charge, and any subsequent retries of the amount due, the payment plan will be cancelled.
Our team are unable to reinstate any cancelled instalment payment plan, and payment will be due in full. An invoice for the remaining amount will be sent to settle any outstanding balance, due within 14 days.
Should this remain outstanding beyond this date, your service will be terminated under our Terms of Service.
Please be aware that cancellation of a payment plan may result in this feature being unavailable in the future for your account.
