Our packages are designed for different levels of support and administration, with our Essentials package providing everything needed to DIY your own accounts up to Premium where most administration is removed, and our team will prepare and submit your tax return to HMRC.
You can change your package providing the alternative package is available. Our Availability Cycle of Services explains when packages will become unavailable to purchase, and all available packages can be viewed through your account (choose ‘add a new package’ to view current options). Sometimes, we may remove packages from our availability based on capacity.
Pricing / package change calculations
Depending on the requested change, a different scenario will apply based on payments and charges for the relevant package change request.
Upgrading a package
Where a upgrade is performed (e.g. moving from Essentials to Advanced), we would issue an invoice once the package change has been requested. Any amount already paid for the relevant financial year would be credited against the invoice.
Example: If you have already paid in full for your Essentials package for 23/24 and choose to move to an upgraded service for the same financial year, the amount paid will be discounted against the higher charge.
Our standard payment terms are 30 days, however where instalment plans are still available (see: Availability Cycle of Services), we will be happy to accommodate an instalment payment plan for the balance. Simply advise our team and we’ll be happy to assist.
Downgrading a package
For package downgrades, our standard terms of service apply. Where the period of 14 days has elapsed since purchase, a partial refund may be possible where usage of the services have not commenced, and where the cancellation takes place during the current financial year. Any payments made would be credited against the relevant new package.
Example: If you hold a 23/24 package (6 April 2023 – 5 April 2024), paid the package charge in full, and choose to cancel halfway through the financial year (i.e. October 2023), a partial refund of 50% of the fees paid, less administration fee, would be refunded.
How to change your package
You can easily change your MalgraBooks Service from your account dashboard.
- Login to your MalgraBooks Member Dashboard
- Choose ‘Change service/package’ from the main menu
- Select the change you’d like to make
Note: Any changes can take up to 48 hours to process, and in the case of an upgrade, you’ll be invoiced accordingly for the difference in pricing. We’ll email you to confirm the next steps.
